About
The Elkhart Lion's Club is a civic organization with a desire to serve the local community and give back to the community. The scholarship has been formed to assist local students to further their education and attend a college of their choice. Scholarships are awarded based on not only grades, but also for the amount and type of service activities they have been involved.
scholarship committee
The committee will consist of active Elkhart Lions Club members who do not have a student who is eligible to be awarded the scholarship.
each scholarship awared will be for a minimium of $500 pro-rated $250 each semester. Student may choose their choice of College, Jr College, vo-tech, business school, or cosmetology school, or other career preperation advanced studies.
eligibility
The student must be a graduating senior of the USD with a high school GPA (through seven semesters) of no lower than 2.0). The scholarship must be used in the year received or will be forfeited.
